Andrew Trechak

B.M., Oberlin Conservatory; M.M., State University of New York-Stony Brook; D.M.A., University of Texas-Austin. Student of John Owings, Martin Canin, William Race; piano study and conducting at Juilliard School of Music, 1967-69. Winner of prizes in Carnegie Hall/Jeunesses Musicales Auditions, Houston Symphony Young Artists Awards, National Young Artists Competition at Midland-Odessa, the Southwest Pianists Foundation Concerto Competition, and the Piano Guild International Recording Competition. Former Instructor at the Usdan Center for the Performing Arts, New York.
